What an awesome performance by our Kindergartners – 4th graders at their spring musical “In The Big Inning” on Wednesday, May 4.

Ultimate ChallengeThe Ultimate Challenge – Zion Lutheran Church and School’s Mother-Son Event

More than 75 sons and their mothers took part in the first ever Ultimate Challenge at Zion Lutheran School on Friday, April 8.  Mothers and sons joined together as teams and were put to the test to complete 12 challenges in an hour.  Challenges included a lazer maze, breakfast scramble (putting together cereal box puzzles), human-size scrabble game and ice cream eating contest with pickles on top.  The evening wrapped with some awards and a bonfire complete with S’mores.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2016 ZLS Dinner Auction a huge success. Nearly 300 of our family and friends gathered together on Saturday, April 2nd to celebrate Zion Lutheran School, and to raise funds that will continue to enable us to provide quality, Christian education to our students.



We hosted our Spring edition of Kindergarten Readiness Night on Tuesday, April 5th. Our principal, teachers and parents enjoyed an evening discussing the important transition for our little ones into Kindergarten.  Missed it? Zion Family Reading Night 2 (1)_Page_1Zion Lutheran School, its teachers and staff hosted a Family Reading Night “Under the Stars” for current, enrolled families on Tuesday, March 8th.  More than 200 people came through the school, enjoying a book swap, reading with teachers by the campfires, making a special snack, shopping at the Book Fair, watching 5th and 6th graders 5th and 6th perform Readers’ Theater and our junior highers had a Poetry Slam.
