Student Council
Our Student Council is a group of peer-elected students chosen to represent the student body.
Students in grades 5th-8th grade run for a position on student council and get chosen through a voting process. Eighth graders run for president and vice president and serve in leadership roles while all student council representatives serve as positive role models for other students.
Members plan fun, school-wide events like pep rallies, skate parties and assist with other school events. They also coordinate dress-down days and student council reps bring fresh ideas to the school, and give students a voice in some of the issues and events affecting the school.
This group not only teaches students responsibility and accountability, but also reinforces the need to put others’ needs first.
