Join us to celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 17. We’ll worship at Zion Lutheran Church at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
God gives us a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus and on Easter Sunday, we join together to celebrate this everlasting gift.
After 20 years serving our church and school, we say a heartful thank you to Jill Batchelder, whose last day on staff was Nov. 17.
We teach service to others at ZLS and how it is truly putting our faith into action. Mrs. Batchelder is a great example of this – giving back for the greater good.
We are grateful for this good and faithful servant. We’ll miss seeing you daily, but your impact on our families and community will last forever.
In the busyness of each day, it may be difficult (or impossible) to get alone, be still, and make time for reflection – a process where we attempt to think about and learn from events and experiences. As disciples of Christ, reflection willingly incorporates prayerfully entering into the presence of God to draw near to Him and His will for our lives.
Psalm 139 says, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23-24). To see ourselves more clearly requires guidance from God and accountability in our faith communities. It becomes our responsibility to take what He reveals and put it into action, but when we do, our spiritual roots go down deeper and we produce more fruit to then reflect the attributes of Christ and share the Good News with others.
On Wednesday, Sept. 22, Zion Lutheran School families gathered to pray at the pole for the annual See You at the Pole event.

We were so fortunate to be able to gather together as a whole school community at this year’s Prayer at the Pole.
It’s about one simple thing—STUDENTS in PRAYER.
Our Zion Lutheran Church & School Family joined together for this year’s See You At The Pole on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Beautiful morning and beautiful way to start the day!
It’s a tradition unique to Zion and a favorite. The Advanced Choir performance of Voice of Truth sung tonight at our 8th grade graduation with current students and alumni.
