Favorite Memory:
Several…Singing in choir, participating in chapel, running track and going to meets, making up dance routines with friends at recess, and taco pizza for lunch 🙂
What she has been up to:
I majored in marketing and graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in 2000. I went on to work at Catalina, a marketing services company, where I still work 20 years later! I married my husband, Doug, in 2001, at Zion…right before the renovation…we have pictures on the original church stairs. Our reception was even in the school gym! Doug and I have raised 5 dogs and currently have a 1 year old, crazy pup named Micah and our senior, 13 year old, Moxie.
How did your time at ZLS influence you?
It instilled in me a foundation of faith that has carried me my whole life, provided a challenging education that gave me the blocks I would need to build my future and taught me the value of great friends and supportive teachers (one of which was my Aunt, Jan Springer).
Extra:
I don’t think I realized while I was at Zion how much it would be a part of who I am…I was blessed my parents provided me, my sister and my brother with the ability to go to Zion!
