We are so thankful for our teachers at Zion Lutheran School and that is why we are featuring a ZLS teacher each week.
Mrs. Althoff grew up in Shipman, Ill., and is the youngest in her family.
Her and her husband started dating when they were counselors in the summer enrichment program.
Both of her daughters attended Zion Lutheran School from pre-school through 8th grade.
In her spare time she enjoys vacationing together, hiking, and going out to dinner
Her biggest influence in becoming a teacher was her high school coach: Bill Parmentier, and her college coach: Karen Sweitzer.
Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13
“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
