Mrs. Pittman, Director of Music Education

We are so thankful for our teachers at Zion Lutheran School and that is why we are featuring a ZLS teacher each week.

Mrs. Pittman currently teaches 3-year-olds – 4th grade general music & 4-8th grade band (I have been teaching at Zion for 2 1/2 years)

“Everyone has the potential to be musical. I will meet you where you are and show you how amazing it feels to make beautiful music! Growing as a musician isn’t easy. It takes hard work and
perseverance, but if you work hard at it, those amazing, special moments will come when you are making music with others around you and you know that all of the hard work that you put into practicing and learning your instrument was worth it. We hope you join our Zion family!.”

3-year-olds – 4th grade general music & 4-8th grade band (I have been teaching at Zion for 2 1/2 years)

My happy place is any place that I am able to make music with other people (church, living room, music class, concerts etc.).

Favorite bible verse:
Psalm 139 – God loves and cares about us enough to know every detail about us. I make it my goal to get to know each of my students personally, meet each one of them where they are, personalize my instruction, and grow with them.
