Mrs. Liz Cleveland – 1st Grade Teacher at ZLS

We are so thankful for our teachers at Zion Lutheran School and that is why we are featuring a ZLS teacher each week.

Currently teaches 1st grade – 5th year teaching at Zion

Tell us about your family…
Me, my husband, Vince, Alaina (10) Addie (6) and our puppy Oakley love playing board games, going for walks and playing outside

Who inspired you to become a teacher?
My mom had a daycare in our basement when I was growing up so I’ve been around children my entire life and always knew I wanted a job where I could help children.

What is your secret talent?
I can touch my tongue to the tip of my nose, haha

Zion Lutheran School is…an amazing place to work and I am so proud to send my children

Favorite Bible Verse
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

First grade is so much fun! I try to make learning as engaging and fun as possible. Zion is a great community and feels like family and I love being a part of it!
