22-23 School Year Theme

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Psalm 18:2
What does it mean to be “rock solid”? I think that it means to be strong, unwavering, dependable and difficult to break. As we use this theme for our new school year, we are not referring to ourselves; at least, not just yet. We focus first on our rock solid God. Our theme verse from Psalm 18 tells us that God is a strong protector and defender. He is the One we go to be held up when we cannot stand. He is unwavering and unbreakable.
But we also desire, as God’s people, to have a rock solid faith. A faith that holds up in times of pressure and trouble. A branch of faith that has its stronghold in God as the vine so that we can bear fruit, build godly character and gain godly confidence.
What can we do to help our children feel “rock solid” – strong, resilient, supported? Trust in God as our rock! He will support us, protect us, and defend us all – children and parents alike- making us strong, unbreakable, and unwavering for His kingdom and His glory.
We are excited and ready to partner with you and support your families for this next school year. May God continue to show you that He is and you will be “Rock Solid”!
