There are so many, but I always think back to the challenge program with Mrs. Althoff!
What she has been up to:
I graduated from Concordia Chicago with my B.S in Biology and where I toured and recorded CDs with the Wind Symphony. Then went to St. Louis University for their accelerated B.S. in Nursing. After that, I married my amazing husband, Rudy, and moved to Fort Wayne, IN. There I practiced adult med-surg at a small hospital and had my son, Anders. We moved back to the STL area to be closer to friends and family. Now I am a pediatric nurse working in Oncology, Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, and specialty therapies. I also volunteer with the CF foundation regularly. Most recently, I had my daughter, Lelianna!
How did your time at ZLS influence you?
It helped me to see that you can be called to careers outside of just church work and make a difference. It instilled the idea of vocations. Outside of that, Zion taught me to love serving others and to do my best in anything I took on.
